Alani Nu — Power Your Potential

A traditional campaign repositioning Alani Nu as the performance drink for young, active women — built around authentic ingredients, personal performance goals, and the tagline Power Your Potential.

The Problem

People are aware of Alani Nu, but they are not choosing it over other competing energy drinks. The campaign needed to shift consideration — not just awareness — by giving the brand a sharper performance identity that resonates with its core audience.

Research

Quantitative data on Alani Nu's U.S. consumer base was paired with qualitative insights showing the brand's emotional connection with Millennial and Gen Z women. Alani Nu isn't speaking to a generic energy-drink audience — it's positioned as a supplement designed specifically for young, active women pursuing personal performance goals.

Big Idea

The Real Performance Drink. Campaign title: Power Your Potential. Alani fuels you with the best, so you can be your best — emphasizing mental clarity, energy, and workout recovery over generic hype.

Campaign Tactics

Strategy spanned social media collaborations with TikTok influencer Nara Smith and Dancing with the Stars pro Riley Arnold, plus performance-focused OOH and print executions — including a scoreboard billboard ("we are here for the 4th quarter") and gym equipment print ads ("essentials only").
